""The dog is the only being who loves you more than he loves himself," according to Fritz Von Unruh. With its motto 'You, me, for them,' the National Canine Training Centre of the Gendarmerie (CNICG) in Gramat (Lot) has perfectly captured the incredible bond of trust and loyalty forged over the decades between gendarmes and their dogs in service to all. A true crucible of canine training in the Gendarmerie, the CNICG has established itself since 1945 as a place for transmitting unique expertise, combining tradition and modernity. As of 2025, it continues to embody excellence in this field by sharing its expertise at the international level. How, then, has the CNICG managed to reconcile historical heritage with constant adaptation to remain a key player in public security alongside dogs? (...)"
