Who are we?

The Observatory is operating directly under the supervision of the Army General, director of the French Gendarmerie, and is directed by a Board of directors and a chairman.

The board of directors include Heads of the following services : Transformation Directorate (ST),  Judiciary Pole of French Gendarmerie (PJGN), Research Centre of the Gendarmerie Nationale Officers College (CREOGN), Forensic Science Laboratory in the French Gendarmerie (IRCGN), the Central Service of Criminal Intelligence (SCRC), the Cyber Directorate of the French Gendarmerie (ComCyberGend), the Strategic Capabilities Directorate (DOE), Homeland Security Technologies and Information Systems Directorate, and University of Cergy-Pontoise.

What's our missions?

By design, the Observatory can monitor all scientific breakthrough, coordinate all information, and provide a large amount of scientific resources regarding sciences and technologies for safety.

Nationwide, the Observatory is the first contact to have for all scientific, academic and industrial partners of the French Gendarmerie. Regardless the topic (biology, cybersecurity, forensics, political sciences, …) the Observatory will find the best service to answer your inquiries with the best legal framework.
